Civilization Name: Tzoka

Population:
Men -23
Women -24

Cities:
Capital: Highpoint

Allies:

Year: 19

Additional info:
Using advanced stone tools, the people of Tzoka have advanced even further into their mountain habitat. They plan now to hollow out the interior of the center For now, it is very basic, but they plan to expand on it later. They have elected a leader, who proposed that as soon as they are done with the center mountain, they will venture to the outlying islands and establish a home on them. To prepare for this, they used a reed as a template and coal and dirt as colors to create a simple map of their area.

Since they're refugees and already know alot of stuff can you make them a wee bit dumb? Like Adrian goblin dumb or Lindsay Lohan on an island dumb.

They are actually 2 generations apart from the original Dawners, and have lost all records/books. Does that work?

Civilization name: Solcoria

Population: 37 (population increase based off a 10% increase per year per total population)
20-men
17-women

City and names:
Capital-Korus

Allies:

-none-

Year: 7

(Sorry I got really into this story. haha)

Additional Info: The people created basic huts out of branches and mud. They hunted nearby game and gathered the fruits of the surrounding foliage. Other people form other tribes, mainly outcasts and undesirables, flock to the new tribe in search of belonging. The village grows in number every year as more and more people arrive to find refuge from the unforgiving world.
------
One quite morning during the blooming season, the people feel a great tremble underneath their feet. Suddenly there is a great explosion that deafens all the villagers. They look up to see a large amount of red liquid, or lava which they now call it, fly into the air in the opposite direction of their small village. After the eruption, the village was in a frenzy for days, fearing another explosion. Once things quieted down, the people, seeing what power the mountain possesses, erect a shrine to the fire god that slumbers within so they may have protection from the terrible fire and strength that the mountain certainly holds within.
------
Month's later, a group of men, scouting out the vast mountain, come across a black stone on the side of the mountain near a lava flow. The stone gives off a great shine. Finding the stone must contain special properties, the men attempt to break off a chunk with a stone axe, but find that the rock actually broke a large piece of the stone axe off. After a few swings with their axes, the men eventually break off a large chunk and bring it back to the village. The village shaman deems the rock a holy gift from Rakozu, the fire god of the mountain, and has the stone placed at the top of the shine. Other village men go and retrieve the rest of the holy rock and bring it back. The village women craft parts of the rock into necklaces for the men to wear to bring good fortune.
------
One day man in the village notices the fine edge the rock on his necklace is broken into and wonders if it could have practical purpose as the use of a tool. He carefully chips the stone into a point and fastens it onto a long stick. The man brings his creation to the other village men, who do the same with their pieces of the holy rock. Some men shape the rock so there is a sharp curved edge and attach it to the end of a short stick to form an axe. The men find these obsidian tools, for they now call the holy rock obsidian, to be far more durable than the stone tools they normally use. The efficiency of resource gathering greatly increases since the village does not require the replacement of tools as often as before.

None yet

Year: 6

Additional Info:
Having secured a perimeter around the ruins, they begin to experiment with the nature around them. They are astounded to discover that by digging with rocks instead of their hands, they are able to dig faster and quicker. They see a pillar of smoke on the horizon, but are afraid to approach it. At nightfall, they gaze at the stars. The world around them seemed small, but they were only beginning to understand how vast it is.

Year: 27

Additional info:
The citizens of Tzoka have successfully hollowed out the interior of their mountain! Their land has prospered under the control of their leader. They have found a new and stronger material while digging inside their mountain. Their leader, who was not native to the rest of the people, called it iron. They iron, when fashioned into tools, had amazing durability. It was much stronger then their normal stone tools. They also began the construction of weapons and armor out of it. Each family has a room in the mountain, but most of it remains empty, to be used when their population starts growing. They have also began a habit of storing resources, such as wood, stone, and most importantly, meat. This is in case the monsoons come back.

While digging out a section of their home, some citizens noticed that some grass was growing a plant. When one of them tasted the plant (he was never known for intelligence) he found it to his liking. Thus began the process of FARMING!

Civilization name: Wolf-Kin
Population: 5 Men; 7 Women
Cities: Burn Lands
Year: 1
Additional Info:We are Wolf-Kin. ( Not Werewolves )

Theron dashed to his left to avoid the blow that would surely have killed him. He snatched the weapon from his attacker's hand and used it to snap the attacker’s knee backwards. As his attack screamed in pain Theron raised the newfound stone club above his head and brought it crashing down unto the other's head.

Satisfied that his enemy was dead, he rummaged in his attackers clothing for anything of value. He found a thin silver sliver of flint that he didn't know what it was for and a small cow stomach bag full of water and slightly burnt meat. He grabbed his attacker’s discarded burning branch and stood. With his treasures in tow he headed to his home. He had been staying with a small party of outlaws, all banished from their clans and villages for either sacrilege or murder. They made their living by killing anyone they saw and taking their things. As he headed to the small shelter they had recently ransacked, he stumbled across an opening in the ground. He looked around and went into it. He walked for hours until finding light streaming from a large crack in the ground. There was a hot, slowly flowing ooze slowly spilling it's way into the cave he had found.

Theron poked at the liquid with a stick and the stick burst into flame, as did Theron's hand. Theron yelled and flung his hand around until the fire was out. His hand was blackened and dry, so he shoved it into the water. He used the club he retrieved from the person he killed to break his way through the brittle rock above him. He made a small path up to the surface, and as he emerged, he came across a shattered wasteland. It was burnt to a crisp by ever flowing lava from a large mountain behind Theron. Theron looked to the mountain and barked a challenge to it, daring it to try and smite him. He swore at the spot that he would bring his fellows with him and conquer the mountain.

And conquer it he did. With his small band of rouges, he fought his way to the top of the mountain and made a small village there.

This is Create a CIV. You can write villager by villager narratives, but you must also give a view on your civilization as a whole. Doesn't have to be as detailed as the narratives, like,

3 babies were born, we discovered cheese from cows by leaving it out too long,
(super awesome villager narrative here)

Also, is this Minecrafty or just Civilization in general? ( So are there creepers, skeles and junk or no? )

Edit: Blaghhhh You broke my spacing. Must. Fix. Nao

Edit2: Whoops, I kind of ripped off of Adrian with the combat advancement thing. The Wolf-Kin aren't stupid by any means. They can craft their own tools and weapons and adapt. They just don't do it as readily as others.

Ummm... You can include Minecraft things, but it's not based on it. It's an evolution of your species. It's fine to start with stone tools, but you must explain how you discover EVERYTHING. Don't take radical steps in one post, build up to it with two or three.

Excrement presently has reached a tangible state.

And you jumped a decade or so (from what I read). If so, your guys took a looooong time to dig out a box. You guys didn't even discover making huts o.o

Civilization name: Solcoria

Population: 70 (population increase based off a 10% increase per year per total population while the number is rounded up if it a decimal)
38-men
32-women

City and names:
Capital-Korus (total pop: 70)

Allies:

-none-

Year: 13

Additional Info:
Town Advancement
Infastructure:With the increase in natural resource production, the people were able to construct better, more stable houses out of wood and stone. The people also erected a wooden palicade around the perimeter of their homes to keep out unwanted guests.
Poplulation: As the town grew in magnificence, more and more people traveled to the town to settle down, there was also many baby's born in those years, many of them twins.
Technology Advancment
Military: A few men grouped together and decided to dedicate them to the art of combat. They set up a training ground with hand to hand fighting pits, wooden practice dummies, and areas for physical fitness.
Agriculture: A loving husband, tired of seeing his wife slave over the finding and collecting of herbs and berries, decided that he would take the herbs and berries she collected, remove the seeds from within, and replant them on a specific plot of land. He called this form of food production farming.
Another man, who brought a large, four legged animal he called a horse to the village, showed a few of the men how to tame one of the magestic beasts.
Tools:One day, as a man was walking down a trail to a nearby river and decided to kick a rounded, flat stone, he discovered that the stone rolled down the path and went a fair distance before falling. Intrigued, he found a larger stone and chiceled it and made it smooth and curved. He pushed the stone and was amazed at how easy the stone moved. He called his invention a wheel. Another man, seeing its potential, decided to break a whole in the middle of two wheels and put a large branch in between them. He proceeded to place a basket on the branch and fasten it. He then took the new "horses" and a rope and tided one end to the horse and another to the "cart." And the rest was history.
Religion
The shrine to Rakozu was built up into a small temple where a few priests tend to it and offer gifts to the fire god.

Civ: Theriol ( Wolf-Kin )
Pop: 18; 7 Men; 11 Women
Cities: Burn Lands
Year: 12

Theron is carving his way through the side of the mountain when he comes across a strange, cloudy gemstone hidden within a cavern, that he curiously picks up. The gemstone begins to glow a bright red and it shatters in his hand, sending shards ricocheting everywhere. Pieces lodge their way into his arm, forehead, and chest, where they then sink in and glow black-red as they carve runes into his skin. He tried to yelp, but the only thing that escapes from his expanded jaw is a tiny whimper before he falls to the ground.

He awakes several hours later in the cavern. He struggles to his feet and finally is able to maintain a sitting position. He looks around the cavern for anything that can help him. He notices the exit, but he remembers that he was at least 6 hours from the top of the mountain. He closes his eyes and accepts his defeat while dreaming of the village. His skin begins to burn and he feels that he is in the heat ooze, slowly burning away, but then the pain, and all sensation, stops abruptly. He opens his eyes and finds that he is once again in his small home. He emerges to the astonished gasps of his fellow Kin. Theron follows their eyes to his exposed body and discovers his new found runic tattoos across the landscape of his body. He instantly puffs out his chest and exclaims to the sky that he, and only he, was the God-King of the Wolf-Kin. The others bow to him, accepting that he was the God-King.

With a newly established God-King in power, the Wolf-Kin prosper. They learn that fish swim in rivers and that the ocean is no place for a Wolf-Kin, as an old Kin drowned to death while trying to catch a fish. The first spear is crafted by a simple child who had not even had his second set of teeth grow. The child was not good with a knife, as his arms were short, so he attached the blade to a stick and tried it out on another Wolf-Kin pup, killing her. The child was killed, as the Wolf-Kin believe that if one wrongs another, then they have to face the same wronging. An eye for an eye.

The club is refined into a sword of sorts. It has a sharp end, but the rest is smooth. They decide it is good for defending themselves and bashing into things without cutting them.

Theron also found that using the flint he had found so long ago, he could make his claws and teeth sharper, so he tried this on several other things.

Civilization name: Sevis
Population: 51
28 Males
20 Females
Three Babies
City and names: New Valley
Allies(if any):
Year: 30
Additional Info:

New Advances:
After attempts to get cotton even more compressed, a female hunter makes string from cotton. It's needs refinement, but it is the foundation of cotton clothing. A budding seamstress pricks herself with a sharp piece of wood, and rubs it on cotton to staunch bleeding. First precursor to medicine.

Clay is found, and unsuccessful attempts to use it as a building material left it being left outside. A particularly hot day dried the clay. Basic storage systems are in place for hard winters.

After the bird feeding, an opportunistic young boy kills one. The birds don't return anymore, but the left over seeds sprout. Small patches of plants are now being grown. They grow slowly, but they understand that seeds will sprout plants.

City State:

After bamboo, advances were made in building. There are now second story structures, helped by the lightweight bamboo. The houses more resemble diamonds instead of cones now. Bamboo slats make heating more efficient and structurally sound.

The main paths in the city and pressed down into compact earth by helpful fellows. People attach smooth pieces of wood into something that can carry a few things, similar to carts but without wheels to take advantage of the now smooth paths.

Language and Culture: Rudimentary pictograms of previous are represented by more symbolic things, like water, air, earth, and fire. Animals and plants are now represented in speech by the sound they make. Water, Air, Earth, and Fire are symbolizing the world at large.

Outside of the Civilization:
Hunters report rows of crops and strange four legged animals on the outskirts of their territory. More disturbingly, they notice large camp remains with a large group of creatures encroaching on their territory. Sensing they may have new hostiles, the town leaders set up a guard house with a dozen guards equipped with leather armor and stone swords.

Possible Precursors
A daughter of a hunter plays with wooden sticks and the forest and notices the way they bend.

Civilization Name: Tzoka

Population:
Men - 55
Women - 56

Cities:
Capital: Highpoint

Allies:

Year: 33

Additional info:

The people of Tzoka have now begun to focus more on beauty and decoration, now that they have a stable home. The men have also established a military, which they train to defend themselves with. A scout, sent by the king to the main land, found a group of newly-founded people. After conversing with them (as miraculously they spoke the same language) he found that they were the remnants of a once great nation called The Dawn Empire. As refugees from war and betrayal, they had escaped the downfall of their home and established a new one far away. Immediately returning to his king, the scout relayed this information. The leader of Tzoka thought this to be an ideal opportunity for trade and defense, so he sent an Alliance Treaty back with the same scout. We still await their decision. (this is where you come in Rofl)

The military of Tzoka has become stronger. Each person has their own set of iron or leather armor, and at least a wooden sword. Their stores of resources has also been expanded. When (or if) the terrible storms of their past comes back, they will be able to survive them in comfort. Farms have also been developed outside of the city. This allows food to be created much faster and easier. It also made a good item to trade, for money has just recently been created. The written language has also been finished (as you can probably tell by the Alliance Treaty above). In all, this great nation is getting of to a great start.

The Creeper Story:

Not anything to big, just something I would like to share with the community :D

Chapter 1:
"They are that way!" Glento said as we rushed away. Several humans were hunting us, and we were trying to get away. There were five of us creepers and a pet pig in our little party, and humans were hunting us. Glento rushed ahead on his four stubby legs, trying to get over the next hill, when suddenly, and arrow shot from a tree and pierced his neck. He gurgled out a whimper, looked me in the eyes, and began to slowly move towards the human in the tree. The human shot him several more times, but he just would not give up. By the time he got to the tree, his body was covered in arrows and his own blood. He uttered a single tsssss and then exploded, taking out the entire tree, and the human. I looked away from the sight, to scared to look at the mangled mess of human and creeper bodies. "Come on everyone," I said,Let’s get away from these monsters."

I don't know why the humans hunt us, and hate us. It angers me so much. They come into our world, our perfect, happy world, and then decide that they own it. Instantly it is gone, and our freedom is ruined. They mangle OUR land, with their disgusting structures and their massive mines, and then when they see us, the expect us to go away, or else they will kill us with their bows or swords. Whenever I see a human, all I can do is frown as I think about all my family that he has possibly murdered to create his massive pile of slime that he calls a home.

Our little party now only has our pet pig Jefbo, and four of us creepers: myself, Gerome, Gleny, and Farbool. Glento had been my best friend. Now we must push on. We must survive. We must win.

Chapter 2:

I stood up from the cold wreckage that we called a camp. I walked to the north and onto a small outcrop to get a view of our surroundings. Things looked to be clear, so I woke everyone and we set off.

A couple of days later, we came across a human encampment.
Damn! They are everywhere!I shouted in anger. I could hardly control my raw rage at the sight of their buildings shooting into the sky.Keira, it’s OK. We can just go around them. They have their backs to the sea, and they are quite a ways off.Gleny said.I know Gleny, but it boils my powder every time I see one of their buildings on OUR native lands. How many of us did they have to kill to make this? Did they use our blood for their explosive boxes to level a mountain? You can never know,I said,Only guess, at the tragedy some creeper had to face for them to ‘survive’. I hate it. I hate them.I could not hold it anymore. We have to do something about them. We cannot let them survive and live off of us. I will not stand for it. I spoke. Farbool said I know. I will stand by you in any decision. I say we go in there and destroy them. It wouldn’t take much.” “We would need an army to blow up that you dolt.I spoke harshly. We would need at least a hundred creepers to blast them off the map.” “But it can be done,Gerome finally saidI know of at least 40 creeper families who would give their lives to rid our precious world of these scum.I thought for a while about his suggestions. It could work….. I would give my life instantly if I could just take out one for the way they killed Glento.I looked at our small group again. It can work. It will work. This is what we are here for. It will take a long time, but it can happen.

A few moments after we decided what we would do, I heard a strangled cry. It sounded like Jefbo, our pet pig. I looked at Gerome,Come on, let’s go see what he has gotten himself into. I said. We headed off towards the direction the cry came from. I hopped down to the block beneath me, but instead of there being more ground, there was a hole that I fell into.Tssss! Where did that come from? Go on ahead without me Gerome. I’ll get our in a bit.I felt around the small area I was in. I found a ledge and jumped up to it. I then looked around for another ledge, but I couldn’t see in this space. Suddenly Gerome yelled HUMANS! I heard the sound of a fight and then a squeal from a pig. A few moments later there was a massive explosion and the ground around me disappeared. I fell for a few moments before hitting the ground. I hoped it was their exploding blocks, but my hopes were answered with the worst answer possible. Gerome’s mangled body lay a few feet from my body. A few feet from him lay Jefbo. He had been cut into slices by a human sword. A few humans looked around, dazed. One of them was face down on the ground, red blood flowing from his skull. They noticed me and pulled out their bows. My eyes widened and I turned to run from my attackers. I turned and was confronted by a cavern. There was nowhere else to go and the first arrow landed to my right. I took no more time before running into the cavern.

-To be continued.

Additional Info:
The people struck the sticks together, producing an warm, orange flame. Amazed, they roasted the pork they had hunted in the morning. The brutes fashioned tough clothing with hide they had got from cows, giving a set to each man. They tied stones to sticks, making crude tools that didn't last very long. The village began to advance and expand faster and faster.
