Typification of designs for faster development

Typification of building designs provides a means by which greater degrees of repetition of all parts and products could be applied in design and production of large buildings and other mega structures. It helps to reduce the number and size of the components required. It permits streamlining of the assembly operations and simplifies them.
When considering the developments in Real Estate Cochin City and its suburbs is witnessing an explosion of myriad types of building designs. Perhaps such developments can be seen in no other city in Kerala. Due to the possibility of significant returns in a short period of time, the leading builders do not mind the cost involved in incorporating expensive designs into the high-rise apartment complexes and other office buildings.
Through typification of building designs, greater developments have now become possible in the minimum possible time frame. When discussing this subject, in the high-rise apartment complexes, certain parts of an apartment unit for example, the bathrooms and kitchen used to have similar type of designs for a single, double or even a three-bedroom apartment. Some builders use the one particular design and incorporate it into newer building projects even though changes in design are incorporated in the outer parts of the building, so as to ensure that no two real estate projects actually look alike.
