Possible economy problem

So not realizing that the system for selling stuff had changed I went to the shop in spawn and tried to sell gold. It gave me an error about input string so I tried to get help with /sell ? . It then decided that I was selling my diamond pick and gave me 1k coins.

Figuring out the sell function worked now with /sell I tried to sell my gold bars and it said that the item could not be sold to the server. I hope this is a glitch and if it is I'll give the 1k back from the pick and get my pick back.

I agree with that, gold should be allowed to be sold. BTW my condolences for your lost pick... I don't have any diamonds so it has hit me especially hard

Yeah thanks. I think it is just a glitch or something wasn't set up properly.
