"The Life of Pi" by Yann Martel
Hey guys,
I just felt the need to share this wonderful and inspirational story with. "The Life of Pi" is the amazing tale of a boy who survives 227 days stranded on the Pacific Ocean... witha Bengal Tiger. This is a very mature book, with many confusig tricks, turns, and allusions. I still think everyone should read it, though. It is completely fictional, with amazing and awe-inspiring events portrayed in the epic majesty of the wild Pacific. My mind is urging me to describe to you in complete detail every single unbeleivable event, but I truly don't want to possibly ruin this magnificent story for potential readers. As a taste, I will copy the teaser from the back.
After reading this, my mind is full of riddles hidden in the story that I cannot decipher. It is truly worthy of The Man Booker Prize 2002 and being one of The New York Times bestsellers.

After the tragic sinking of a cargo ship, one solitary
lifeboat remains bobbing on the wild, blue Pacific.
The only suvivors from the wreck are a sixteen-year-
old boy named Pi, a hyena, a zebra (with a broken
leg), a female orang-utan... and a 450-pound Royal
Bengal Tiger.
The scene is set for one of the extraordinary works of fiction in recent years.

I always liked Bengal tigers. Maybe it's because they can swim?
