Falling [WIP]

Falling, falling, falling.
Falling into the deep blue sea.
The world becomes muted
As the life trickles out
One bubble at a time
A blue film struck through by light
And fire
Now you remember
Oh, the fire, the fire
On a ship
Floating adrift
in the deep blue sea

“Avast! Look at this sorry landlubber.”
“He’s a lucky lad for havin' been cast ashore by t' Sea.”
“It looks like he's still breathin'. Let's get him on board t' dry out.”
“Aye, captain.”
He felt himself being dragged off the sand bar and into the water.
No, not the water again! He struggled feebly to get up.
“I think we’ve landed ourselves a big one.”
“Ha ha, that your right about that Henry.”
The water only went up to his neck though, and he was lifted into a small dinghy.
“Certainly could use some more weight, this one.”
Certainly you don’t need to remind me, pirate.
“Oi! Don’t knock the oar down. I don’t want to get anything wet past the britches.”
“I think you’ve already gotten wet, you dribblin' excuse for a pirate”
“Settle down lasses! We don’t want you two ladies fighting.”
“Hmmph.”
“I’ll wager I win t’ next time we play cards, lad.”
The bright sunlight seemed like a blessing to the survivor. He’s grateful for the slow rising and falling of his chest and the soft eastern wind in his face. What happened before the beach and the bickering pirates? What brought me here? And most importantly, who am I? His thoughts remain uninterrupted by the silent rowers, who are absorbed in the push and pull of the oars. In a short while, they start chanting, their rough voices combining into a not-unpleasant symphony.
“Ooooooh, who lives in a cove next to the sea?”
“The Redd Pirates!”
“Adornment of scarlet and lawless is (s)he”
“The Redd Pirates!”
“If nautical fighting be something you dish”
“The Redd Pirates!”
“Then hop to the deck and have some fish”
“The Redd Pirates!
“THE REDD PIRATES!”
"THE REDD PIRATES!"
“THE REEEDD PIRAAATES! AH AHH AHH AHAHAHAHAHAHA”
