Grief Report

7:20 PM PST

Complaint: (Easy to read and in paragraph format)

I just log on and go to the area where a few of us were setting up, and I see water griefed around and I knew that water was never there in the first place because I was there at the time when the place was being constructed because my mine was still there from that time when the server got rolled back to. When I go there I see chg101 there griefing water, then I kill him and see that he stole all our items in our chest, and had a bucket in his inventory. As a side note, he was never in our group of people in the city.

After reviewing the evidence and other actions of the offending player which I have witnessed I have decided to ban Chg101. He can appeal the ban on the forums.

What did he say about it? It looked slightly decorative on those other pics you took. Never the less there was way too much water.

Right after I took those screen shots I went on teamspeak and tried talking to him but he logged off after I told him "you have some explaining to do".

I really want to stay out of this, and this may beis biased, but this IS his first offence. And I'm not so sure about the whole 7 post count thing, either.

i know i shouldnt be posting in this forum but i want to explain.

Hes a mod to take care of the RPing, he has no idea of it himself and has personal issues with other players. hes new to the server, wasnt active in the forum.

But hey he chills in a chatroom with chivers often, thats the reason hes a mod

no hes a mod because he applied to be one....not cos he is anal towards chivers and who cares if he doesnt post much, he isn't a forum mod (or is he) so there is no requirement for him to be active on them. Also for example I may not post much but I actively read the forums so it is possible to be involved in things without execesive trolling

griefers dont get a warning, if you grief your not welcomed. no warnings, if you want to make an excuse go to ban and appeal section if not have a good day. and this isnt about doomkiwi, if you want to talk about him start a thread on a related topic, this thread is for ch101 griefing mine, arkiteks, littlemoomoos, tornen2, georgH and chivers base. nothing else.

My base as well. I just want chg to actually try to defend himself, not just say "lol".

yea he can appeal to but for now we should set an example, we can have griefers going around with excuses. if he has to be treated like a 5 year old and put on time out, until he can comeback with an appeal for his actions dont you think?

Since my name got thrown in the mix I'll chime in with my opinion. I agree with Diabloz, griefers should be banned immediately upon discovery. They have an opportunity to appeal and that's what this thread is for. If the response is 'lol' then the ban should be permanent. Or is the next defense "my brother did it"?

Anyways, I guess this would be partly my fault, seeing as I'm the one that got him in to the server. Sorry.
