For the next 2 weeks i will probably not be on much as im australian. In australia the company's that supply the internet are money hungry and you are limited to how much you can download! thus as i will be going over my monthly limit halfway through the month due to my computer pwning itself and having to download alot of things again. i shal be back when the net is reset 25th of feb. if you need any of my supplies msg Doomkiwi ingame as he has access to my wharehouse!

Two things.
1. Don't you guys have public hotspots you can leach off of?

2. Minecraft isn't THAT heavy. How much do you have left?

Minecraft is pretty heavy last time I checked.

Well it depends how minecraft works in that sense. I am actually curious now. I have theories about this.

Honestly, no one should have to pay for internet. The internet is a free service that anyone can access. It was never meant to be commercialized and sold to people. It really pisses me off when I see people going "over the limit" of internet use. It's bullshit. The internet should be free. I can understand paying for the physical cable that you use to connect to the world wide web, but paying monthly for total download space is fucked up.

The internet is free. But the monthly bill and limit is justified because A. your using someone's cable which they have to pay for. B. Especially in apartments, a lot of people share the same cable so you can potentially bog down the download and upload speed. My brother runs into this problem a lot when it is raining. He pays for a 10 megabit connection (dl), but doesn't go over 8 megabits ever, and when it is a bad day outside I have seen it gone down to 6 mega bit at his apartment.

Notch! As much as everyone is happy with the game he has made (as am I) built it in a poor manner. So yes, it's incredibly heavy, its slow, it's a mess. Lol thats why only 40-60 people can be on at a time on a reasonable machine before the server decideds to roll over begging to die

And if your computer isnt super powerful there is tons of lag

The number of people isn't related to the hardware as much as upload. And it isn't that bad unless his limit is 2gb.
