The Temporary banning of t3h1337builder

t3h1337builder is banned for 2 weeks starting today 5/1/11.

He was banned for using a fly mod to move faster than everyone else. This is the second time we have dealt with him about using a fly mod, and he didn't learn his lesson the first time. The next time he is caught using a fly mod or any mod that gives him an unfair advantage over anyone else, he will be permanently banned from the server.

so u have to use 3 times cheats to get permanent banned?

Im with habit on this one, People shouldnt get away with hacks 2 times.

Players won't. The way the server has been lately though has been one of a not very serious nature with little rules being enforced because of the lack of organization. Admins moderators and players together have been messing around and playing with different mods. After going public and we are serious about how we run things, things like this wont slip by.

this is just a fucking joke, this says he will be banned until the mod isnt able to use anymore. still he got unbanned, found cheating again.

other people get banned daily for doing nothing and have to explain theirself all the time for hours before they can get online again

others found cheating twice and still its no biggy.

he has proven he cant stop cheating. finding someone cheating was very hard so far still he got seen using it twice. i also know with his mod u can see diamonds and goldores so great

dont want to know how much fucking resources he already took out of this shit. but go on, nevermind, let the cheater get on again

once i see builder online on the server again i will leave this server forever. this is just a fucking joke

And on what basis do you make this wild claim? I know for a fact that fly mod is a different thing to "x-ray vision" because I use fly mod when I m building in my single player and I doesn't come with anything that allows you to see precious ores

Habit, we have a mod that prevents flying, but they are still able to use fly mod briefly but a mod gets notified and the server resets your position back to where you started flying.

Can you stop it habit, or did you forget about the incident from you a few months back, where you broke a block and opened incredibleant's and my chest, while the place was towny'd. Last time I checked, abusing game mechanics a kick and a warning, but in you case, it would become a ban. We let you go instead. So why are you mad he didn't get perm banned?

Oh and incase you test me on what i said, ill quote the rule for you in this post. Oh and about section C in the quote, remember you were on your last chance then, so it would have been a perm ban.

G. Game Mechanics
a. If you cant do it in the game and you have to cheat then it is abusing game mechanics
1. If you are quick clicking (deleting a block in towny and right clicking before block appears)
2. If you are using lag to help yourself you are cheating
3. If a plugin breaks and you start to abuse this then you will be kicked off the server until further notice. Which may be never
b. If you do something and a admin tells you that you are breaking server mechanics then you will only receive a warning
but all further ones to that persons faction will be counted as a full on punishment
c. The punishment for Abusing game mechanics is a 48 hour kick and a formal warning.
