Re: Mod installation help
I think I'm following the steps correctly, but when I go to play, MC turns into a blackscreen and nothing happens after logging in.
I downloaded Chivers .jar file, which works perfectly with the minimap mod, but when I go to add anyother mod it blackscreens me. Like the Mo' Creatures mod, I put the minecraft files in the,jar and the resources in resources, along with putting the audio mod files in the .jar, as with spawnlist.class file. Yes, META-INF is deleted. I must be doing something wrong.

Re: Mod installation help
when you get a black screen that means that there is a conflict with the java. There is no way to fix this other to take out what you put in. The way i found out how to fix things takes some time but here is the steps. First download what i have if there is a newer version make sure it is compatible with the mods you want. It will be nice when minecraft is done and we dont have to keep updating it. The next thing is to slowly add each thing and if you have a problem see what file inside the mod you want is giving you a problem. If you cant find it then the mod does not work on that modloader. I will through some things into a jar file that you guys want and put a link on here. I dont know how long it will take but it will have everything. LIke
mod loader-and everything that comes with it like more words and audiofix
mocreatures
human mod
minimap
128x128 texture pack with HD water and lava--it will have texture pack that is not the default but something awesome. it will be a surprise

Re: Mod installation help
HUGE SUCCESS!
http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=106648
Macs only, but it worked great!
http://minecraft.codeplex.com/releases/view/53419
I assume this does the same thing.
My sound is completely broken after installing
ModLoader
AudioMod
SpawnList
Zan'sMinimap
HumansPlus
I think it's something between Humans and AudioMod; please help.

Found out what I was doing wrong. - apparently zip programs do make a difference. I used WinRar and it works perfectly. -.-
