Re: The Big Question - Map Reset?
I don't mind a map reset. I would, however, like to point out just how much of the map is presently unused. Once you go beyond 1000x 1000z and -1000x -1000z there's a LOT of unexplored stuff out there. I'm currently located several days' travel from spawn on foot, and I have yet to see any evidence of other player activity aside from long-abandoned structures.
Of course, this creates significant problems as it relates to logistics and travel time, so I wouldn't mind a reset with a Cartograph map generated so that proper base planning can occur. I pretty much just traveled until I was tired and decided 'this seems far enough'.

Gah, so close. One more vote people! This time though lets move forward with the wipe slowly and methodically, with extensive planning. That way we can ensure it's the best we can make it before the chamber pot hits the fan.

Completely agreed.
I'm hoping we see the map a while before we join, that way we can go ahead and start planning rather than jumping to it and rushing things.
Re: The Big Question - Map Reset?
Yeah. If the map is re, let's not jump in too quickly. Give it a couple days planning and start when we have everything planned out.

Its 70%.
I kinda think that only the buildings should be cuboided not the diamond blocks or gold blocks, I really think we should have a fresh start especially as it appears Habit will end up starting his kingdom prior to the reset.

I guess the poll closed or something, because I can't vote, but I would be in favor of a reset as well. The Biome terrain mod works for SMP now, and I recommend it be used to add hellstone and lightstone deposits in debatably-rare quantities. You can also change things like the ocean level and Biome sizes.

I second this. It's really epic looking if you haven't seen it. Good luck getting there though, with all the fire XpMrSpoon wrote:hey soto could you possibly save my ship? it took a long time just to get to the point its at now :/

After Soto copy pastes the stuff, I vote we end the old map with a bang. Maybe something explosives related?

Thats what I was thinking. Why not blow up the world!
Fun for everyone! lol
except the server, it will probably scream for help as we slowly kill it off with all the TNT

Well, this is disappointing. Just remember to wipe Money along with inventories this time.

Dependent on the size and effort put into your castle you may have your place saved if it is worth saving.

There is a post in general about getting your place saved. Reset has not been determined yet.
